The ceremony, held in a quiet manner in compliance with all anti-Covid measures, was attended by councilor Sergio Pecorara representing the Administration.

Among those who fell in the name of the Resistance there were also the Piacenza people Luciano Bertè, Primo Guerzoni and Eusebio Saletti, Francesco Cavanna and Filippo Galli from Farini, Raffaele Cerlesi, Galliano Pavesi and Giannino Verzé from Caorso, Giuseppe Risoli from San Giorgio, Carlo Santini from Lugagnano and Mario Sesenna of Fiorenzuola.

“It is always necessary and important – underlines councilor Pecorara – to preserve and honor the memory of those who gave their lives for the ideals of pluralism, freedom and democracy which today, thanks to that sacrifice, we can consider the inalienable rights of all citizens” .
