Piacenza, series of online meetings dedicated to art, for the elderly
Tuesday 16th, appointment with Frida Kahlo
The figure of the charismatic Mexican painter Frida Kahlo will be at the center of the online conference on Tuesday 16 March, starting at 10 am, as part of the cycle of meetings dedicated to art that the Social-Recreational Activities Office organizes, for the elderly, thanks to the precious contribution of Professor Alessandro Malinverni.
It was a village on the outskirts of Mexico City that was the birthplace of Kahlo at the beginning of the twentieth century, daughter - as she liked to define herself - of the Mexican revolution. Professor Malinverni will focus precisely on the intense existence of the author of works such as "The broken column" and various themed self-portraits, which denote her independent and passionate personality, reticent to social conventions: characteristics that have allowed her to become a international icon of the female world.
The video conference, which will last approximately 45 minutes, can be followed through computers, tablets and mobile phones, connecting to the Google Meet platform a starting at 10.
Regular users of the initiatives will receive the address via email or Whatsapp of the video conference and will be able to follow the meeting by simply clicking on the link indicated. Anyone wishing to join can fill out the online form at https://cutt.ly/fridakahlo
