Pesaro Urbino: Music at the Palazzo Ducale in Urbino with the Bonaita-Ottaviani duo.
Saturday 29th July they come back events organized by the Pesaro Concert Authority in the prestigious frame of the Courtyard of honor of the Ducal Palace of Urbino, Home of the National Gallery of Marche. The event entitled Music at the Doge's Palace hosts for the occasion a duo of young and already established talents: the Milanese violinist Francesca Bonaita and the Pesaro Marco Ottaviani on the piano.
The two musicians they will propose a fascinating musical journey in the repertoire chamber music: the youthful Sonata in D minor op. 9 and the subsequent Romance in D major op. 23 by the Polish composer Karol Szymanowski will be followed by the Sonata in A major by César Franck, dedicated as a wedding gift by the composer to the violin virtuoso Eugène Ysaÿe. Maurice Ravel's La Tzigane will close the concert with its rhapsodic and folkloristic rhythms in which the performer is called upon to show off his own creativity and all his technical skills on the violin.
The event fits into the billboard of Music with Vista 2023 promoted by AMUR Committee and the Quartet Homes. The initiative, now in its fourth edition, has as obiettivo that of support the new generation of young classical music talents and will travel throughout Italy, from Trento to Palermo, with concerts spread throughout a musical journey in the gardens, cloisters and courtyards of historic homes and palaces, an integral part of the identity and cultural heritage of our country.
