Pesaro, Nando Pagnoncelli guest at 'Incontri Capitali' with "The importance of public opinion".

"The importance of public opinion in the evolution (or transformation) of the city“: is the title of keynote and Nando Pagnoncelli propose Thursday April 18 in Pesaro to the public of 'Capital Encounters' (Alusfera in Piazza del Popolo, 18.30 pm).

Among the major pollsters at national level, social and market researcher for 39 years, Nando Pagnoncelli is president of Ipsos, a leading company in Italy in the opinion research sector. University professor and board member of ISPI (Institute for international political studies) he is also the reference pollster for the 'DiMartedì' broadcast hosted by Giovanni Floris on La7.

In the ongoing transformation processes, citizens' opinion plays a fundamental role, but it is necessary, according to Pagnoncelli, to find a point of balance between politics and public opinion to avoid, as has been the case for too long, the former pursuing the latter for reasons of consensus. In the analysis, culture, understood in an anthropological sense, takes on a central role because it can allow citizens to be aware of their responsibilities and the role they have in society.

The next appointment of 'Capital Encounters' will be with the novel: Monday 29 April the event hosts Serena Bortone, journalist, author and television presenter who presents her debut book 'To you neighbor so sweet' (Rizzoli) in dialogue with the writer and literary critic Giulia Ciarapica (Alusfera in Piazza del Popolo, 18.30 pm). A story set in the late '80s among the kids of the time and the portrait of a generation that discovers that it has never been as free as it was made to believe.
