Pesaro 2024. Natural and artificial, true and false: Ferruccio De Bortoli will talk about it on Monday 15 April at "Incontri Capitali".

It takes inspiration from the theme of Pesaro 2024 focused on the relationship between nature and culture, the lectio magistralis by Ferruccio De Bortoli who will be a guest of 'Capital Encounters' on Monday 15 April (Pesaro, Alusfera in Piazza del Popolo – 18.30 pm).

One of the most authoritative names in Italian journalism, former director of Corriere della Sera and Sole 24 Ore, De Bortoli is currently president of the Longanesi publishing house. In his lectio entitled 'Natural and artificial, true and false. Public communication and technological evolution, customs and rules', will talk about how the great turning points of progress and technology were anticipated by literature, art and journalism. In particular, through the curiosities ofarchive of the Corriere della Sera, De Bortoli will propose a small journey between prophetic texts and imaginative works to understand how the relationship between natural and artificial, real and unreal has changed, until the barrier between true and false becomes thinner.

Thursday 18 April 'Capital Encounters' will continue with the lectio magistralis by Nando Pagnoncelli, president of Ipsos Italia who will delve into 'The importance of public opinion in the evolution (or transformation) of the city' (Alusfera in Piazza Popolo, 18.30 pm).
