After the appointment in Canada at the end of February, a new stage in the journey of Pesaro UNESCO Creative City of Music.

Pesaro to Como – UNESCO city – to participate in the national Forum “CreativeMakers: creative skills for the future” created with the collaboration of the Italian Creative cities all present at the call (14 in total): Alba, Biella, Bergamo, Bologna, Bolzano, Carrara, Como, Fabriano, Milano, Modena, Parma, Pesaro, Rome, Turin.
The forum was divided into two moments: the workshop which included the panel dedicated to territorial policies and creative districts - here the President of the City Council Marco Perugini spoke, illustrating the administration's projects - and the focal point panel which saw the contribution of Filippo Galeazzi, contact person for UNESCO Pesaro.
And then the national conference of the Forum co-planned by Como Città Creativa UNESCO and the Italian Youth Association for UNESCO (AIGU) with the partnership of the UNESCO Chair established by the University of Insubria Gender Equality and Women's Rigths in the Multicultural Society and Cometa Training Center UNEVOC.
Here the creative cities shared several best practices on creativity, training, participation and youth talent and presented numerous initiatives to provide an inter-cluster insight; the long-term objective could be the creation of a national creative hub dedicated to young operators which allows greater exchanges between cities and territories. Among the official speakers, again Marco Perugini who illustrated 'Adriative Ocean '24' an intersection project between Pesaro 2024 – Italian capital of culture e Pesaro UNESCO Creative City of Music which enhances music as a tool for the cultural growth of a territory.
The days in Como were also an opportunity to talk about some of the projects in the Pesaro 2024 dossier such as “Off-Piste-Slow Tourism” to talk about sustainable tourism and to remember that sustainability represents one of the cornerstones of Pesaro's city development and tourism: just mention the Bicipolitana and its lines to experience the center and suburbs by bicycle.
The National Forum “CreativeMakers: creative skills for the future” of the Italian UNESCO Creative Cities hosted in Como was created in the context of the first edition of the “Lake Como Creativity Week” a new format dedicated to creativity and talent created by the Municipality of Como in collaboration with the Como-Lecco Chamber of Commerce and the Alessandro Volta Foundation.
