Oristano, the carnival comes to life with the Gran Galà, Zippolata and parade of children from the playrooms, Villaggio Sartiglia and grand masked ball

Tomorrow, Wednesday 7 February, at 19.30pm, at the Garau Theater the Gran Galà della Sartiglia which brings together all the protagonists of the carousel.
After the greetings of the Mayor of Oristano Massimiliano Sanna, the President of the Oristano Foundation Carlo Cuccu, the President of the Sartiglia Committee Angelo Bresciani and the President of the Knights' Association Ignazio Nonnis, the evening will come alive with the screening of films on the training of the Pariglie in Cort'e Baccaa track and with a presentation of all the Sartiglia participants.

On February 8th, Shrove Thursday, starting at 16pm, the traditional event the Zippolata organized by the Pro Loco which this year moves from Piazza Roma to Piazza Eleonora.

The appointment, which is repeated at Carnival for almost 65 years, this year it is combined with the costume parade of children from the municipal playrooms. The children from the playrooms will meet at 16pm in the Viale Repubblica Park (via Carpaccio side next to the UNLA Cultural Services Centre). At 16.30pm the parade starts and at 17.30pm the great confetti battle in Piazza Eleonora.

Friday 9 February, at 17.30pm, in Piazza Cova the inauguration of the Sartiglia Village with Live Music and entertainment with Marco Pinna and at 18pm in Piazza Eleonora the Grand Masked Ball with the music of DJ Sandro Azzena
