Oristano: Christmas at the Museum, from 16 December to 3 January workshops for children at the Antiquarium Arborense.
Five events under the tree at the Antiquarium Arborense dedicated to the little ones to learn more about history and archaeology.
They are organized by the Antiquarium Arborense Museum, the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Oristano and the Oristano Foundation as part of the "Christmas at the Museum" event which also this year offers days of recreational and educational workshops for children and teenagers aged 6 to 12 years.
- It starts on Saturday 16 December, at 16.30 pm, with the workshop entitled "Archeoarancio".
- Second appointment on Saturday 23 December at 10.30 with the "Story of Christmas".
- The workshop entitled "Oristanopoli" continues on Wednesday 27 December, at 16.30 pm.
- Saturday 30 December at 10.30 am new appointment with “Let's play latrunculi?” and Wednesday 3 January closing at 10.30am with "The true story of the Befana".
“We propose a new and original way to bring young people closer to the museum and spend the holidays with them – says Anna Paola Delogu, curator and head of educational activities -. The children, thanks to the expertise of the museum operators, experts in museum education, will be transported into the past and will get to know the museum's finds more closely, a way to capture the attention of young people with recreational activities and learn about our history ”.
The cost for participation in each workshop is 6 euros. By purchasing the Labcard you will be able to participate in all the workshops at a cost of 20 euros.
