Oristano: the Spring Festival returns to Torre Grande

The initiative is by the Department of Productive Activities of the Municipality of Oristano in collaboration with the Eleonora Cultural Association.

Oristano: the Spring Festival returns to Torre Grande.

“There will be four days full of important events for the relaunching tourism and the economy of Torre Grande – observe the Mayor Massimiliano Sanna -. The formula is the tried and tested one of the flower festival, with the market exhibition nursery, of craftsmanship, of agri-food and gastronomy, but also entertainment and workshops and many other activities dedicated to children and adults. We are certain that there will be many people attending Torre Grande and we hope that this will be an important opportunity for relaunching, a good omen for the coming months".

“The highlight of the Spring holiday it will be the flower display curated by the association Infioratori Santa Maria di Guspini and the Petali d'Arte Association of Noto who will create their beautiful paintings of ephemeral art filling the seafront with the colors of spring – stresses the Councilor for Productive Activities Rossana Fozzi -. For our beautiful seaside resort and for the many visitors who want to be present it will be a beautiful sight, full of colours".

“The Spring Festival will kick off on Saturday 22 April, at 12pm, with the opening of the Market exhibition of horticultural products, crafts and food and wine products, while for the flower display you will have to wait until Sunday morning – continues the Councilor for Fozzi -. The program is very rich and varied. There will be refreshment points and circus shows with balancing acts, juggling, acrobatics and magic, treasure hunts, drawing competitions, the presence of Minnie and Mickey and cartoon characters. For our commercial operators and artisans it will be an important opportunity for relaunch. An alternative and pleasant way to experience Torre Grande for families and visitors."

The program for Saturday April 22 It provides:

12pm Exhibition Market Opening: flower and nursery exhibitors, artisans/creators of intellectual works, agri-food exhibitors and refreshment points.
15pm/19pm “Draw Spring” Competition: The collection of drawings for the second edition of the competition reserved for children and teenagers up to 14 years of age will begin at the Animation Space in Piazza della Torre.
16pm/16,40pm Circus pills with Sara and Kuba who will involve children and adults in a circus show with balancing acts, juggling, acrobatics and magic
17/18.30pm Spring Treasure Hunt: Reserved for mixed teams of adults and children, it starts from the Entertainment Space and takes place on the seafront. Participation requires a small registration fee of €3,00 per team.
20pm Closing of the Market Exhibition
