Olbia, in the kitchen with children with "Grandma's recipes"
The webinar will be held by Claudia Pirina and Nivia Iglesias on 26 April, 3 May and 10 May
Olbia, the municipal administration is carrying out the project relating to the cooking workshop for children "Grandmother's recipes", organized by the Friends of the Simpliciana Library Association and in collaboration with the cultural ASD Sas Janas. It will be created by Claudia Pirina and Nivia Iglesias on 26 April, 3 May and 10 May 2021.
These are three meetings inspired by the Sardinian culinary tradition whose recipes are taken from the book "Grandmother's recipes", written by children, with healthy and tasty advice told in the home, in front of a fireplace while having a snack, for example . Each workshop is dedicated to three different dishes: pasta for gnocchi and ravioli, Sardinian fregola and Sardinian pizza.
«The project has reached its fourth year, and has been much appreciated by the children and their families – states the culture councilor Sabrina Serra -. This year, due to the impossibility of carrying out activities in person, we have decided to give a strong signal, keeping attention alive with this remote activity. We hope to soon be able to return to the direct participation of children in the projects that the administration thinks of and wants for them."
Naturally the meetings will be held virtually on the library's YouTube channel, in compliance with the rules currently in force.
