Oria: the Carabinieri meet around 100 very young students, with the contribution of teachers who took part in the initiative.

On the morning of 18 January 2024, the Carabinieri of Francavilla Fontana, as part of the training seminars for the diffusion of the culture of legality, met the classes of a primary school in Oria. The meeting, held by the Commander of the Company, Captain Alessandro Genovese, was attended by around 100 very young students, enriched by the contribution offered by the teachers who took part in the initiative.

Numerous topics were covered, all relating to the formation of the culture of legality, with particular insights into bullying and cyberbullying, the topic relating to gender violence and the correct and conscious use of social networks. The active participation of several students made it possible to analyze some deviant behaviors sometimes found among children and adolescents; we discussed the reasons that trigger antisocial attitudes, also implemented through the use of the internet, evaluating with them the related consequences, also clarifying some doubts expressed to the Officer. The conference attracted considerable interest from the children, whose average age, around 10 years, is particularly sensitive given that they are young people who will now enter the world of adults in a few years, confirming themselves as an important moment in the formation of the culture of legality. The meeting is part of a wider calendar of events which see the Carabinieri and the Provincial Command of Brindisi operating close to the younger generations, with the aim of increasing civic sense and trust towards the institutions.

Oria: i Carabinieri incontrano circa 100 giovanissimi studenti, con il contributo di insegnanti che hanno preso parte all'iniziativa.
