Saturday November 9 11 hours the curator of the Maritime Museum Silvia Pinna will lead a free guided tour at the show "The journey into modernity. 1924-1938 Trieste in the evolution of the liner“, presenting an overview of Trieste constructions in the period between the two wars and examining the context that determined the evolution of naval design of the time.

The exhibition explores the theme through period photographs, documents, manuscripts, advertising graphics, drawings, advertising sketches and naval models. of the evolution of the design of ships of the line and their decoration, as well as the pursuit of luxury and speed, which characterised what was an unrepeatable golden age for liners to which Trieste contributed significantly.

A visit is allowed to maximum number of 25 participants and it is required Booking by 12pm on Friday 8th November at museomare@comune.trieste.it.
