Modena: Wednesdays in San Pietro between music, theater and storytelling
Wednesday 5 July, at 21pm, with "The charm of the theatre", the 14th edition of the event promoted by the Modena cultural salon will begin, which continues until September
Modena: Wednesdays in San Pietro between music, theater and storytelling.
La review, which has the artistic direction of Sabrina Gasparini, proposes a program that ranges from classical to popular music, from tango to song to acting, with the aim of telling and raising awareness of genres, authors and artists. The serate are at free admission, with a minimum donation of 5 euros to support the restoration project of the cloister of San Pietro.
The initiative is included in the billboard of the Modena summer and is made with support from the Municipality of Modena and Emilia Romagna region and with the contribution of Italpizza and Vania Franceschelli.
Protagonist of the debut evening, Wednesday 5th July, Sara Andrea Ferrari who will tell the public about ,, one of the oldest art forms. With him on stage, alternating with narration musical moments, there will be Sacha De Ritis on flute and Bianca Nucita on harp.
"Wandering music” is the title of the appointment 12th July offering the performance of the trio formed by Sabrina Gasparini on vocals, Athos Bassissi on accordion and Gen Llukaci on violin, among artists of very different backgrounds who meet on the path of a musical wandering between Eastern Europe, the Balkans, France, Italy and South America.
Il 19th July, Italian clarinet quartet, composed of Giovanni Lanzini, Maurizio Morganti, Giovanni Vai, Federico Micheloni, performs a fun and romantic concert, “Clarinets under the Moon”, with music from Rossini onwards.
Il 26th July return to the Musical madness between opera and operetta, much loved by the public, with the masters Elvira Foti and Roberto Metro.
I four appointments in August they open, Wednesday 2, with "A los maestros – Latin emotions”, a rare and fascinating concert with Fabio Furia on bandoneon and Alessandro Deiani on guitar.
Si continues on the 9th with a trip to history of music conducted by maestro Stefano Seghedoni and by voices of Iwona Tober and Julia Szarlinska (in collaboration with the Momus association) while, Wednesday 16, performs the Metifis Quartet (Valeria Veltro, Gaetano Agoglia, Francesco Latorraca, Tiziana Lobosco) which offers cultured and popular music from the Mediterranean.
Il August 23th goes on stage"Astro Daisy”, recital dedicated to the extraordinary life of astrophysics Margherita Hack ten years after his disappearance, with the narration of Isabella Dapinguente , music by Claudio Ughetti on accordion and Gio Stefani on guitar.
August ends, Wednesday 30, with “Classical electro”, classical music as it has never been heard in a concert that unites young talents and consolidated artists: Massimo Orlandini and Francesco Ferrari, keyboards and piano, Gen Llukaci, violin, Francesco Monticelli, drums.
The last appointment of the review will be Wednesday 6 September with the presentation of the book "I will do and understand” together with the author Franca Coen who will lead the public to discover the Jewish world. The words will be accompanied by the kletzmer music of the duo Ughetti and Llukaci, accordion and violin.
