Modena, 30 new homes in Via Canaletto thanks to the 8 million euro intervention: subsidized rents in favor of fragile families

Final award to Cambiamo Spa for the intervention worth over 8 million euros also financed by the Pnrr: two buildings with shared spaces on the ground floor

Modena, in Via Canaletto 30 new homes thanks to the 8 million euro intervention: subsidized rents in favor of fragile families.

 

There will be 30 social residential units that will be built in the area of ​​the former agricultural consortium in northern Modena, on Via Canaletto, in two buildings intended for permanent rental with subsidized rents in favor of fragile families, one of which, with 15 units, will be dedicated to the "youth foyer" project for people between 18 and 30 years old looking for independent living.

In recent days, the urban transformation company Cambiamo spa awarded the integrated tender for executive planning and works to Iti Impresa Generale spa of Modena. The executive design will be completed by the summer, entrusted by a temporary group of companies (Professionisti srl of Brescia, engineer Tiziano Terlizzese of Bologna, studio Calvi srl of Pavia) and the start of the construction site is scheduled for autumn, as foreseen in the timetable defined with the Municipality.

The overall value of the intervention is eight million and 744 thousand euros. This is the so-called OP lot of Pinqua, the national plan on the quality of living with which Modena obtained funding from the Pnrr, the national recovery and resilience plan, for approximately 15 million euros on various initiatives planned in the neighborhood within of the Next Generation Modena program.

The two buildings will be built on an area of ​​1.750 square meters and will share the ground floor with a series of shared services for activities that promote integration, interaction and social sharing, such as the cycle workshop, shared rooms, classrooms studio and coworking, spaces for over 250 square metres, flexible and characterized by large windows, which can also be used by the inhabitants of the neighbourhood. On the ground floor there is also a bicycle storage room and a boiler room.

The apartments will average around 70 square meters but the building will be characterized by great flexibility in the spaces so as to be able to easily disaggregate and re-aggregate accommodations with different types and sizes, based on the different needs of the users.

The buildings will be free of architectural barriers in all internal and external routes, will have "NZEB" class energy certification, with external insulation and photovoltaic panels on the roof.
