At Carcan Theater di Milano from 28 December to 7 January on stage Pippi Longstocking – Astrid Lindgren's musical: the famous fairy tale is transformed into a show with unique features, thanks to the Italian version by Sagitta Alter and Carlotta Proietti and directed by Fabrizio Angelini. The show was born from an idea by Gigi Proietti, more than an idea, an intuition: to give the public an edition "live" of one of the most beloved heroines of all time. That intuition becomes reality.

Rebellious, non-conformist and allergic to the rules, Pippi will give everyone a lesson that goes more or less like this: independence, the power to daydream, the ability to give money a relative importance and the value of friendship make life is beautiful, much more than elegant clothes and lounge etiquette. A lively and exuberant show: stunts, twists, lots of music; the extremely accurate and refined costumes and the elegant staging are designed by Susanna Proietti. But Pippi Longstocking The Musical is also something more. It is the delicate feeling that you will carry in your heart at the end of the show: that tenderness that ultimately isn't the only truly powerful weapon for living happily?

A cast of actors, singers, dancers-acrobats will tell the story of Pippi, a timeless icon, on stage. We will find her unmistakable red braids, freckles and colorful looks that have made entire generations dream. There will be no shortage of his faithful traveling companions on stage: the adorable polka-dotted horse called Uncle and Nilsson an extravagant little monkey.
