Among these, the mayor Federico Basile accepted the ANCI's request to illuminate a significant monument of the city with yellow light. “For the occasion, in order to give a visual signal dedicated to women and to raise awareness among the community on the issues of the affirmation of everyone's rights, freedom and legality, Palazzo Zanca will be lit up in yellow on Friday 8 March”, Mayor Basile communicates.

“The initiatives range from topics related to rights, health, art and conviviality – explains councilor Liana Cannata instead – but all linked by a common thread: the anniversary of March 8 must be an opportunity to reflect and commit all together for women's freedom and against any form of discrimination and violence against women, girls and boys.
