Messina: National premiere debut for “Via Crudex – Cantico della menace” at the Teatro dei 3 Mestieri.
Will “Via Crudex – Song of the threat” written and directed by Rosario Palazzolo to close the season"Traces of ink” of the Theater of the 3 Professions of Messina.
This show, which is also the new production of the Teatro dei 3 Mestieri, will make its national premiere on Friday 26 May at 21.00 pm.
The protagonists on the stage will be the actors Stefano Cutrupi and Silvana Luppino who will interpret the text of the well-known director and playwright from Palermo on the typical fears of actors, their misadventures and fragilities, with their experiences overflowing with fleeting experiences and full of emotional acrobatics.
Via Crudex – Cantico della menace will also be staged on Saturday 27 May at 21.00 pm and Sunday 28 May at 18.30 pm.
Rosario Palazzolo presents his show like this: “I have stocked up on my recurring themes, those for which I lift my pen every day and throw it on a piece of paper and, in short, I have sharpened my knives, as they say, even if they don't actually say it so, I organized eight pieces of a puzzle, which will be incomplete, in the end, of course, since it was certainly not in my interest to grasp the entire stack, but rather to put together a kind of bullfighting for the actor. Being an actor, it seems to me, is a struggle with the public, with the text, with the director, a struggle with oneself, because choosing to be an actor today is a misadventure. The same argument could be extended to all the arts practiced live, since the audience has ceased to be the audience that each actor imagined when he imagined some audience. In fact, he has transformed into a foggy entity, devourer of emotions, dispenser of trends and designer of panoramas. The actor is thus always on the verge of succumbing and, thus, I have prepared a challenge, a war, for life and for art. A Crudex Path without resurrection. And I know well that my speech is full of holes, I put them there on purpose, but nevertheless it seems to me to be an excellent starting point, for failure. Which is usually my point of arrival."
