Messina: At the Teatro dei 3 Mestieri in Messina the exhibition “Cromatismi sonori” by Federica Fornaro.
The cycle of exhibitions continues “Teatrart” of the Teatro dei 3 Mestieri of Messina, curated by Dania Mondello, with the next exhibition, entitled “Sound chromatisms”, scheduled for Friday 24 March at 20.30 pm which will feature the artist from Messina Federica Fornaro.
It will be possible to visit “Cromatismi sonori” until Sunday 30 April, from Monday to Friday from 16.30pm to 20.00pm and during the Teatro dei 3 Mestieri events scheduled in the coming weeks. Federica Fornaro was born in Messina on 9 June 1990, where he attended the Ernesto Basile art institute. He subsequently perfected his pictorial art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Reggio Calabria where he graduated with top marks. Over the years he enriches his technique by characterizing his works with interesting and very personal ideas, such as: the representation of reality through the deconstruction of shapes and chromatic planes which give effects of depth and advancement of the image, sometimes breaking it down. The use of bright and sometimes contrasting colors also stands out. Among the recurring themes in her work we find music (it couldn't be otherwise, as the young painter is a talented guitarist and graduated from the Corelli conservatory in Messina), and the succession of the seasons. The themes are varied while maintaining a purely abstract imprint. In 2009 she won first prize at the third edition of the Messina painting competition “Art in the Center”, and since 2014 she has tried her hand at creating artwork for music albums, a path that led her to undertake a collaboration with an advertising agency where she developed design techniques, computer graphics and theories of advertising communication.
