Mayor Peracchini and Councilor Frascatore met the athletes of the ASD Spezia Triathlon
This morning the Mayor of La Spezia Pierluigi Peracchini and the sports councilor Marco Frascatore they received a visit from a representative at the Palazzo Civico of the asd Spezia Triathlon, sports club founded in La Spezia in 1998. It was an opportunity to exchange greetings and to learn more about and raise awareness of this extraordinary sporting discipline.
To date, the Spezia Triathlon is the largest sports club of the Province of La Spezia, has more than 100 members per year and is active in the organization of sprint and Olympic triathlon competitions in the local area.
The Company is made up of athletes of all ages and competitions are held duathlon, sprint, Olympic, medium, long and super long distance triathlons.
Furthermore, the company is very active in the youth sector and in the diffusion of sporting culture also through the Spezia project Triathlon Kids created to offer the opportunity to children (6-13 years) to try this sport in a correct and stimulating way, with the primary objective of fun, health and commitment to respecting the rules of the sport. Triathlon is the ideal sport to learn to have self-confidence, develop coordination, speed and endurance, meet new friends and develop team and team spirit.
