Mayor Decaro appoints engineer Nicola Mele as councilor for public works of the Municipality of Bari

This morning the mayor of Bari Antonio DeCaro signed the decree appointing councilor for Infrastructure, Public Works, Sustainable Mobility and Accessibility (Infrastructure, Public Works and Related Services, Roads, Urbanisation, Public Green) in favor of by engineer Nicola Mele.

Engineer Mele, born in Bari on 1 June 1970, he is an official of the Apulian territorial structure of ANAS spa for which he holds the position of director of new infrastructure works.

Over time he has managed numerous construction sites for the creation of new works, including the Palo del Colle variant (and the related redevelopment of the town) and the modernization of state road 96, the completion of the penetration auctions north and south of Molfetta and Giovinazzo on state road 16

From the 2005 to the 2016 he held the role of manager of the specialist pool and planning unit, carrying out coordination activities for planning and external services and assisting managers in the planning phase and in relations with local authorities as well as in drafting the documentation for access to funding Europeans, in collaboration with the General Management.
