Matera, another week of celebration with "Matera Christmas Village".

 

One more settimana to enjoy the magic Matera Christmas Village, an initiative that he is animating Vittorio Veneto square and that it will continue until Sunday 8 January, continuously from 10 am to midnight.
A perfect setting, that of City of Stones, to welcome a rich man market of typical products, crafts and many collateral activities in between animations, music and workshops.
The initiative, a free entry, is signed byItaly Events Association, sponsored by Municipality of Matera and by 'ONE IS (National Union of Organizers Events), in collaboration with Pro Loco Matera.

“The Christmas period in Matera was magical but it's not over yet” comments the president of Italia Eventi Joseph Wolf, “there are still days ahead of us full of taste and fun together with the Befana, who will accompany us until the end of the holidays. We will continue until Sunday evening, continuing to cheer up an extraordinary city like Matera, its citizens and the many tourists who have come to enjoy it during the holidays".

There are many scheduled events suitable for the whole family. There is waiting for the big tombola organized by AGESCI Matera 2 Scouts Group, due to Thursday from hours 16. The day of Epiphany, however, will be marked by chess tournaments organized by the Materana Lapacciana Chess Academy.

Here in detail what the activities will be scheduled from 5 at8st January, parallel to the area of ​​markets dedicated to local and non-local typical products and crafts:

Thursday 5 January

10am Born to read – family readings with families and children (0-6 years). From 10am to 13pm and from 16pm to 21pm La Befana welcomes children with little sweets. From 16pm to 20pm AGESCI Matera 2 Scout Group with bingo and musical entertainment. 18pm Kalos Mobile Circus with Maori and the Alchemist Continental LED show.

Friday January 6

From 10am to 13pm the Materana Lapacciana Chess Academy presents the Chess Tournaments. From 10am to 13pm and from 16pm to 21pm La Befana welcomes children with little sweets. 18pm Street artists La Caposciuc of Matera.

Saturday January 7
