Prevention is the principle that once again inspired the initiative of the Carabinieri of the Marciana Marina station who once again addressed the issue of legality at school with the very young people who attend the town's middle school. Educating in legality means recognizing and avoiding aggressive behavior, both one's own and that of others, as for example in the case of "bullies".
Marshal Pani and Marshal Longo held a meeting conference on legality to the students of the school. They addressed the topics of cyber bullying, drugs and the hidden pitfalls of browsing the internet. The debate with the participants was very well attended students who asked the two non-commissioned officers of the force many questions on the topics covered.
The initiative of the Carabinieri of the Marciana Marina station is part of the contribution to the formation of the "culture of legality” which the Carabinieri has been pursuing for some time on the national territory. The department, in fact, has already been engaged for some years inawareness raising activities among young people and very young people, for which various types of initiatives are designed and addressed to explain what illegal and risky behaviors are and which can lead to real illegality.
Similar initiatives promoted by the Carabinieri Command of Portoferraio will soon also be addressed to the other schools on the Island of Elba.
