Lecco, pillow fight in Piazza Garibaldi on 20 July

The “Battaglia”, a production by the company Il Melarancio, from an idea by Gimmi Basilotta and Marina Berro, has thrilled and involved hundreds of Italian and European squares for years: it has been represented in the festivals of Belgium, Hungary and Spain, and has received very successful at the Venice Carnival itself.

A sparkling and unusual experience

Thus the culture councilor of the Municipality of Lecco Simone Piazza"We welcome with great curiosity such a lively and unusual experience which, we are sure, will be able to involve and entertain, bringing together people of all ages in an exciting pillow fight. The years we leave behind have given us very little lightness, and therefore recreational initiatives of this type are welcome, interspersing the many theatrical, musical and cultural events that the Lecco summer will be full of."

The battle

The public will be welcomed, before the start of the show, in a suitably equipped space, and will subsequently be involved by the Company in the final setting up of the space; once the rules of the game have been dictated, a countdown will follow which will begin the battle.

Free admission. In case of rain, the event will take place in the gym of the Tommaso Grossi school in via A. Ghislanzioni 7.
