Lecco: March full of events at the Civic Planetarium.
At the Civic Planetarium of Lecco, a rich and varied calendar of events that will take place in the month of March, at the museum complex of Palazzo Belgiojoso.
Starting from the first Friday of the month, 3 March, there will be a series of unmissable evenings. The program will begin with an evening dedicated to the disappearance of the dinosaurs: at 21pm, Giancarlo Colombo will lead”Deaths under an evil star. The last day of the dinosaurs".
Friday 10 meeting will be heldNot prima donnas but prima donnas“, on the records established by female scientists in the history of astronomy, with the scientific journalist Gabriella Bernardi, in line with the theme of International Women's Rights Day on Wednesday 8 March. Friday 17 the doctor Stefano Orsenigo will try to answer “What happens to a man's body, unprotected, in the vacuum of space?” with an explanation of the changes caused by vacuum and radiation. The projection in the dome on Friday 24th will illustrate the equinox sky. To conclude, Friday 31, there will be a meeting with two great figures of astronomy, history and Greek culture: Aristarchus and Eratosthenes, the two men who measured the world. To hold the evening Giulia Maghetti for the historical part e Loris Lazzati for the astronomical one.
There is no shortage of events dedicated to children aged 3 to 7, from Saturday 4th and 18pm to 15pm and 16.30pm, respectively with "The little Prince"and "Gruby the space pig". Saturday 25th at 20am, however, one of the most popular events is planned: observation of the sky with telescopes from the departure square of the Erna cable car. Finally, every Sunday there will be a dome projection on the sky of the month.
