Lecce: “The Child God” by Fabio Troiano at the Apollo Theater on 25 February.

Il Apollo Theatre di Lecce is preparing to welcome, Saturday 25 February at 21pm, the show “The Child God”, played by the talented and versatile theatre, cinema and TV actor Fabio Troiano. The monologue, written in 1993 by Giorgio gaber e Sandro Luporini, tells the love story between a man and a woman, which becomes an opportunity to investigate the essence of Man and his ability to grow and become an adult.
The Child God, an emblematic example of Giorgio Gaber's "theatre of evocation", remains a text of incredible strength and relevance thirty years after its writing. Giorgio Gallione's direction enhances the topicality and empathy of the text, finding a perfect combination with the interpretation of Fabio Troiano, skilled in crossing comic and intimate texts with similar success, here expected in a tightrope test of an actor.
The event is organized by the Municipality of Lecce in collaboration with the Teatro Pubblico Pugliese and is part of the 2022/23 theater season. For the occasion, the Apollo Theater will also activate the service “I'm coming too – Bring the children with you to the theatre”, reserved for ticket holders of the show “Il Dio Bambino”. During the show, a workshop will be held in a room of the theater by Probiotics, for children aged 3 to 5 years and 6 to 10 years.
