Lecce, May 13th is the Night of Museums: cultural institutions and places at the symbolic cost of 1 euro.
Saturday 13 May Must – Historical Museum of the City of Lecce adheres to European Museum Night, extending its opening hours, usually set at 21pm, until 1 am.
Those who visit the permanent collections and temporary exhibitions of the Must from 21pm to 1am will pay the entrance ticket to the symbolic cost of 1 euros. The European Night of Museums, now in its 19th edition, is the initiative organized by the French Ministry of Culture and sponsored by UNESCO, the Council of Europe and ICOM, which provides for the extraordinary evening opening of institutions and places of culture at the symbolic cost of 1 euro (except for free tickets provided by law). The aim of the event is to encourage and promote knowledge of national and European cultural heritage and identity.
