La Spezia Summer Festival – V edition. The 56th edition of the International Jazz Festival is underway.

The 56th edition of the La Spezia International Jazz Festival, shows in Piazza Europa with Russell Crow, Mr. Rain, Irene Grandi, Edoardo Bennato, Nina Zilli, Max Giusti and Raul Cremona, Giorgio Panariello, Goran Bregovich.

On the morning of April 5th at Palazzo Civico the Mayor of La Spezia Pierluigi Peracchini together with Alessandro Maggi, artistic director of the La Spezia Estate Festiva festival and Lorenzo Cimino artistic director of the International Jazz Festival, presented the V edition of “La Spezia Summer Festival" – the event dedicated to the Theater – the prestigious 56th edition of the International Jazz Festival and the pop music concerts that will bring the greatest shows currently touring Italy to La Spezia.

Great names of Italian theater such as Alessandro Preziosi, Carolina Benvenga, Mariangela D'Abbraccio, Oblivion, Giorgio Panariello and Marco Masini, Beatrice Baldaccini and even the great pop music with Mr. Rain, Cristiano De Andrè Edoardo Bennato and Nina Zilli. The great interpreters of world jazz music: Paolo Fresu & Uri Caine, Dado Moroni, Eddie Gomez, Joe La Barbera, Mike Stern and Randy Brecker, the voice of Irene Grandi and the incursions of Goran Bregovich and Russell Crow.

We are very proud of this new program which, again this year, we are sure will be much appreciated and which will reserve other great surprises that we will announce. "

The exhibition features protagonists, from the 7 July to the 20 August, names such as Alessandro Preziosi, Carolina Benvenga, Mariangela D'Abbraccio, Oblivion, Giorgio Panariello and Marco Masini, Beatrice Baldaccini and the dance troupe that will pay homage to Raffaella Carrà with the musical of the same name dedicated to her. And again: the 5 musicians of the Rimbamband, Raul Cremona, Max Giusti and the rock philosopher Matteo Saudino.

There will also be space for music on the stage in Piazza Europa with Mr. Rain (12 July), Cristiano De Andrè (16 July), Edoardo Bennato (22 July) and Nina Zilli (10 August).

An extraordinary program for the La Spezia International Jazz Festival, now in its 56th edition. From July a prestigious program of concerts for the longest-running Italian music festival dedicated to jazz, which has taken place in La Spezia and its surroundings continuously since 1969. With the artistic direction of Lorenzo Cimino, one of the most appreciated contemporary trumpeters, the 56th Edition of the Festival will be held in Piazza Europa and will develop through appointments with international stars, and special projects in homage to jazz giants.

Tickets for the Jazz Festival and La Spezia Estate Festival They will also be on sale online on the Vivaticket circuit; season tickets only at the Teatro Civico Box Office.

Entrance to all shows of the La Spezia Estate Festival (except CAROLINA BENVENGA and PANARIELLO VS MASINI):

– full price: 10 euros + retail price,

– subscription: (minimum 5 shows) ticket for 8 euros;

– reduced price for students: 5 euros.
