The month of April will be entirely dedicated to the cultural events proposed by the Urban Museum System
Lecco, the cultural proposals of the Urban Museum System for the month of April.
Until the 18 June you can visit the exhibition “Futurists. A cutting-edge generation". Set up on the first floor of Palazzo delle Paure, the exhibition investigates the avant-garde season and in particular Futurism. From Giacomo Balla's Dinamismi to Luigi Russolo's Intonarumori, up to the bottle of Fortunato Deperto's Campari and costs 10 euros (7 euros reduced).
From the 22 April to the 14 May, on the occasion of the Monti Sorgenti exhibition, the Torre Viscontea will host the photographic exhibition “Xtremes – NORTH Greenland – Baffin Island, SOUTH Patagonia”, which revolves around the story of some exploration routes at the vertical extremes of the planet. Free admission.
Saturday 15 April at 14pm and 30pm makes “Discovering your name”, the annual Let's Draw Art event, an opportunity for the little ones to become great artists, reinterpreting works from museum collections, giving free rein to their imagination. The visit and the workshop are free for participating children (recommended age from 5 to 10 years), while a 4 euro ticket is required for accompanying adults, unless they have a Lombardy Museum Pass. Finally, Tuesday 25 April at 15pm will be held at Palazzo Belgiojoso “Lecco: the journey of the Resistance”, a guided tour that will retrace the fundamental moments of the Lecco resistance to understand Lecco's contribution to the liberation from Nazi-fascism. Free entry, but reservations required at the address education.musei@comune.lecco.it.
