Guardia di Finanza: 2025 edition of the Historical Calendar presented
On the evening of November 21st, at the “Conciliation” Auditorium, the presentation of the took place Historical Calendar of the Guardia di Finanza for the year 2025, created in collaboration with the famous international photojournalist Max Sestini.
The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance, Hon. Maurice Leo.
The evening, hosted by the journalist Roberta Floris, a well-known face on TG5, saw the performance of the Banda del Corpo and the string quartet “QART Music Events”. Accompanied by the scenographic choreography created by the body of dance, the string quartet and the Banda del Corpo performed well-known pop songs and soundtracks from important cinema blockbusters.
Finally, the historian Michael D'Andrea illustrated the “Song of the Italians"of Michele novaro e Goffredo Mameli, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the temporal, political and social context in which the Italian national anthem originated.
This year – explained the General Commander, Gen. CA Andrea De Gennaro – for the first time, the Calendar abandons its traditional historical guise to dive into current events, through photographs that offer new perspectives on the daily operational activity of the Guardia di Finanza.
At the heart of the work the men and women of the Fiamme Gialle, the beating heart of the Guardia di Finanza, who look to the future aware of the challenges that await them, animated, today as yesterday, by a spirit of service, commitment, courage and dedication.
The 2025 Historical Calendar is dedicated to them, breaking the mold and entrusting exclusively the universal language of photography, capable of capturing details that go straight to the heart, with the task of recounting our extraordinary daily life.
These are stories and actions, often far from the spotlight, that emerge from the pages of the Calendar: the daily work of the Fiamme Gialle at the service of the country and the community.
