Grosseto, the new edition of the "Christmas in Grosseto" event program is back.

After the success of before purchasing, edition, returns to the historic center of Grosseto the program of events “Christmas in Grosseto” organized by Ccn-Natural shopping center of the historic center Common, the support of Conad and the collaboration of many city entities. The event, in addition to the Ccn events, will bring together the various initiatives organized in the heart of the city in one of the most popular periods of the year.

The protagonist of the event will be the Christmas Market: in Piazza Dante, Saturday 3 a Monday December 26, the characteristic wooden chalets will be set up offering Christmas objects and many gastronomic specialties from all over the world Country. The houses will be open every day from 10 19.30 with the possibility of extending opening hours during weekends and public holidays.

Piazza Duomo, which for this occasion becomes “The Christmas square”, will host the “Citadel of solidarity”, a space dedicated to voluntary associations that will have the opportunity to promote their activities and raise funds. The stands will alternate Committee For the life, Together Aps Project, Farfalla, UniTre for Ail, the clinic "The family", You will have, Tejidas Collective Plots, Il Sole Foundation, the Friends of Zanzibar and the world, the Italian Blind Union of Grosseto e Adopt a Stray Heart & Dog League.

The stand is also in Piazza Duomo “Tuscany showcase”, set up in collaboration with Confcommercio Grosseto, which will host “Experience Maremma food and wine, what else?”, the initiative created by the trade association with the Maremma Chamber of Commerce and Tyrrhenian through the promotion project of Region and Unioncamere Tuscany which has, among its members, over a thousand catering businesses and almost three hundred food shops, including many from Grosseto. New itineraries to discover the area will be promoted at the stand: a program of guided visits to places of historical, artistic or naturalistic interest, and tastings of typical menus in the restaurants of the Vetrina Toscana network.

Two more gazebos, in front of the Town Hall, will host the info-point of the exhibition and the offers of the Ccn traders: during the weekends in these spaces musical shows, entertainment and games for the little ones will be staged thanks to the collaboration of many local entities such as the dance school 2001 Odyssey, Polo Bianciardi with the students of the musical high school, the associations “Mattoallaprossima”, “The ways of the garden”, “Bandus”, City of Grosseto Philharmonic Orchestra, the band “Minerva 40” and many others.

And it doesn't end here: "Christmas in Grosseto" will also be workshops for children, tastings, exhibitions, screenings and much more to experience in the museums of the historic centre, the Le Clarisse cultural center Gianfranco Luzzetti Collection Museum and the Maremma Natural History Museum of Foundation Grosseto Culture and the Maam-Maremma archaeological and art museum. And again, theater shows and concerts hosted by Theaters of Grosseto and in other spaces, initiatives from Grosseto University Center Foundation, concerts of the festival Scriabin Concert series.

Furthermore, also in the 2022 the exhibition organized byInstitution of the Walls of the Municipality of Grosseto, “At Cassero it's… Christmas”, with many appointments to begin Saturday 3 e Sunday 4 December and they will continue from Thursday 8 December until the end of the year.

It is important, then, to continue to focus strongly on the spaces that the city offers and on projects that are always engaging: for this reason, the municipal administration wanted to continue to strongly support and support the initiative. I thank all those who, with true passion and love for the city, worked for a beautiful Christmas in Grosseto: the Ccn Centro Storico, all the councillors, traders, associations, the organizers of the various events and the irreplaceable sponsors".

“As per tradition for our events – explains the president of the Ccn, Enrico Collura – also for this Christmas we wanted to organize a program of events that would include within it, in addition to our initiatives, the programs of many other entities. We have decided to propose this Christmas event because today more than ever we must invest in the historic center to support our activities and at the same time give new life to a space of historical value and undoubtedly attractive for those coming from outside Grosseto. We are happy that the Municipality continues to support us, as do all those who, in various capacities, collaborate with us both in terms of economic contribution and active contribution with initiatives, activities and much more. I therefore invite everyone to visit the market with the wooden houses in Piazza Dante, the Christmas square (Piazza Duomo) with the Citadel of solidarity and all the events we have organised, the Fortress Bastion with Santa Claus Village, but also to participate in the cultural initiatives of museums, theaters and all the organizations that will organize the events".
