Grosseto: A treasure hunt within the city walls.
Ready to play? On Sunday 21 May, from 9 to 30, the historic city center will host an incredible treasure hunt which will lead citizens to discover the most secret and hidden places of Grosseto.
“A competition to the last photo that will help the people of Grosseto to rediscover and appreciate many points of interest in the city – comment the mayor Antonfrancesco Vivarelli Colonna and the councilor for culture Luca Agresti – The event, organized by the Centro Sportivo Italiano Committee of Grosseto, aims to raise community awareness of cultural heritage and will therefore contribute to strengthening the sense of identity necessary for the development of the territory".
The participants, who will start from Piazza Baccarini (in front of the Archaeological Museum), will be divided into teams and will face riddles regarding an agreed number of points of interest (historical-cultural-artistic), which they will then have to photograph. The top three teams, ranked in order of arrival and accuracy of all answers, will receive prizes. The competition will be free and open to all.
In case of bad weather the event will be postponed to Sunday 28 May at the same time.
