The has just ended VI edition of the “Fantasy – Festival of Contemporary Circus, Street Art and Music of Monferrato”, A project by MagdaClan circus, in collaboration with the Municipality of Frassinello M.to, Pro Loco of Frassinello M.to and San Salvatore M.to, Destinazione Monferrato, with the support of MIC-Ministry of Culture.
The event, from Friday to Sunday, animated the small village of Frassinello Monferrato, registering over 1000 spectators, both from Monferrato and from outside the region. The shows under the MagdaClan tent were sold out.
Fantasy has brought internationally renowned artists to a hilly context. Under the artistic and organizational direction of MagdaClan, eleven companies, sixteen shows and thirty artists involved from all over Europe were hosted.
For the realization of this edition of Fantasy Festival, the support of over 200 people who contributed to the "Don't leave us in your underwear" fundraiser, the crowdfunding set up to allow the three days of shows to take place.
To date, 13 thousand euros have been raised via the Produzione dal Basso platform at the link productions from below – don't leave us in our underwear. Crowdfunding is still open until April 15th and it is still possible to donate. During the festival, to thank the donors, the now famous MagdaClan branded underwear were hung and given as a reward.
But it doesn't end here. The MagdaClan company will remain in Frassinello for another week.
“Exception n.15” will be staged under the big top on Saturday 21 April at 00pm and Sunday 16 April at 18pm., a contemporary circus show that leaves room for poetic images and elegance. It is a series that starts from Frassinello Monferrato, passes through Turin and will touch the festivals of the MagdaClan tour.
“Exception” will have a different specificity each time based on the territory that will host it and the circus itself will be the spokesperson and common thread of the series.
Seats under the tent are limited, therefore booking is strongly recommended by calling 3311388336. The public who participated in the Fantasy shows will be entitled to a reduction on the ticket price.
