Emilia-Romagna, film and audiovisual industry: 33 projects and over 2 million euros.

There will be 39 the courses available for around 500 potential recipients, created by training bodies and the main local entities operating in the cinema sector, in collaboration with universities, businesses and institutions. Among the proposals are 22 advanced training courses, 9 continuous training courses and 2 for technicians

Thirty-three training projects, some of which in multiple editions, which will make a total of 39 courses available, created by training bodies and the main local entities operating in the cinema sector, in collaboration with universities, businesses and institutions, and aimed at over 500 potential recipients. The Emilia-Romagna Region continues to invest in training to qualify the skills of the regional film and audiovisual industry. The Council approved, with resources from the regional program ESF+ 2021/2027 and an investment of over 2 million euros, the new training offer with courses of different durations and with different training objectives and recipients.

There are 22 advanced training courses, the duration of which varies from 240 to 800 hours, to acquire skills and knowledge in all phases that make up the industrial chain of the cinema and audiovisual sector, in particular those with a high technological content. The training concerns different areas and figures, such as for example screenplay, writing, directing techniques, digital animation, being an actor on a film and television set, video maker, production of soundtracks, filming techniques, with the use of the most advanced cinema and audiovisual technologies. All expressed in various genres, from fiction to documentaries, from audiovisual and multimedia productions for children to the production of interactive audiovisuals.

Two other courses within the Regional Qualifications System, were designed to train the figure of the sound engineer and the camera operator.

And then 9 continuous and permanent training courses, of short duration (from 40 to 50 hours), some of which in multiple editions, for a total of 15 courses, to support the growth of organizational and managerial skills to strengthen business organisations, in logic of support for entrepreneurship. The topics concern, for example, the accounting and taxation of a production company, contracts and copyright, set management, distribution of the cinematographic and audiovisual product, ethics and creativity of the producer.

“A concrete opportunity to enhance a wealth of knowledge and experience already active in the training sector in this area, consolidating the role of the Emilia-Romagna Region- comment by the regional councilors for Training and Work, Vincenzo Colla and for Culture, Mauro Felicori-. An offer that encourages entry into new professions for those starting out and the updating of skills for those already working in the cinematographic supply chain."

The training offer is distributed throughout the entire regional territory: in Bologna 19 routes (with an allocation of 1,3 million euros), Modena 2 (74 thousand euros), Forlì-Cesena 3 routes (60 thousand euros), Ferrara 3 (114 thousand euros), Piacenza 1 route (92 thousand euros) , Parma 2 (111 thousand euros), Ravenna 4 (171 thousand euros), Reggio Emilia 2 courses (71 thousand euros), Rimini 3 courses (21 thousand euros).
