Gardone Riviera (BS) – A great party for one hundred and sixty years since the birth of Gabriele d'Annunzio. This is the underlying theme of the Vittoriale event during which the "Aquilan soloistsi”, directed by the maestro Beatrice Venezi with the narrating voice of the actor Giorgio Pasotti. The vice president Santangelo illustrated the aims of the festival and the choice of the Vittoriale also with a view to promoting the places dear to d'Annunzio: «We are at the Vittoriale to a day dedicated entirely to Abruzzo: we promote our region, our events and our brands by combining art, culture and food. We want to make our region live outside our territory by projecting it onto a national level, and even more. The Regional Council promotes a series of initiatives at the Vittoriale always linked to the figure of d'Annunzio, such as the Forgiveness, relaunched by the Pope himself; the coast of the trabocchi, beloved places where d'Annunzio loved to spend his time. This year the festival will be called “Live, Hate, Dance”, which it wants to be a hymn to life, to emotions, rich in cultural, literary events, music, entertainment, under a single common thread, that linked to identity, to belonging".
The program of the d'Annunziano Festival promises to be as rich as ever, with seminars, presentations, tastings and great concerts. Among the artists Francesco Renga, Nek, Mara Sattei, Raphael Gualazzi, Roberto Vecchioni, Simone Cristicchi, Carl Brave and Boomdabash. The claim “Vivi-Odi-Balla” is an invitation to activate the senses which refers to the peculiarities of the festival. We will experience the places of d'Annunzio's birthplace: the sea, with the “D'Annunzio Regatta”, the overflows of the north pier with the “Literary sandwich”, the birthplace in Corso Manthoné and the city museums, with evening openings and cultural moments that will enliven them during the entire event. You will be able to listen to the echo of D'Annunzio's literature and poetry, with internationally renowned scholars, writers and well-known faces from the world of literature, cinema and theatre. Finally, you will be able to dance to the melodies of the great artists who will perform in the concerts that will take place every evening from 2nd to 10th September. in various places in Pescara.
