«Because everything is energy that is transmitted, that passes through experiences, that flows and that changes, an energy that has now passed through a generation and that shows no signs of stopping to grow and to
improve. – says Gloria Angelotti, the president of the FATF – Everything flows and everything changes, everything passes but everything remains, even if in different ways and forms. This is the inspiration that the FATF offers to young people from all over Italy. All we have to do is invite our kids to let their pen slide across the blank sheet of paper and send us their stories."
«The title wants to represent how everything flows easily again – says the President of the FATF Gloria Angelotti – The Panta rei refers not only to the passing of time but also to the uniqueness of the individual moments experienced – it can also be applied to the environment that surrounds us surrounds, how to take care of what we have and what will remain for future generations."
It is precisely by following this ideal that the artist Vittoria Parrinello decided to create a work of glass and paper that represents the spirit of this edition: a small boat cradled on a sea of glass, pushed by the waves, where water becomes a metaphor for continuous change, rebirth, evolution.
«The choice of material is linked to its molecular composition – explains Vittoria Parrinello – glass is structurally a liquid that solidifies without crystallizing, without ever becoming a true solid body. A changing material, in continuous transformation, transparent, evocative like the surface of the ocean."
FATF – Franco Agostino Teatro Festival – The festival dedicated to theatre, which has also reached beyond national borders, born in memory of a boy who loved the Arts - is a non-profit organization founded 25 years ago which, every year, organizes a theater festival (and not only!) dedicated to a specific theme.
