Ancona, “Christmas Carol” arrives at the Panettone Theater

Appointment at the Panettone Theater on 8 December, at 18.00 pm and on 9 December, at 21.00 pm with A CHRISTMAS CAROL, the theatrical revival of the classic tale by Charles Dickens, staged by the Senigallia theater company, Nuovo Melograno, directed by Daniele Vocino, with Cristian Strambolini, Daniele Vocino, Catia Urbinelli, Roberto Carletti, Marco Tonelli, Vittoria Federiconi. “A Christmas Carol”, written in 1843 by Charles Dickens, is one of the most famous fairy tales in the Christmas Books collection and still today it is one of the most touching stories that exist. A show for adults and children that delves into the soul of the spectator, transmitting hope, but which also represented a strong criticism of the society of the time: those who live in greed have the possibility of freeing themselves from the chains of avarice by changing their attitude and nourishing their spirit with new values, capable of healing relationships between men and making them live in harmony. Upon entering the room, the audience meets Jacob Marley who invites everyone to immerse themselves in his story, proceeding like a real game of Chinese boxes. The drama is thus conducted through all the stages of the transformation of the protagonist, Scrooge, who is the pivot around which all the characters swirl, jumping from era to era until arriving in a dystopian future. “These are things of the past, they are what they are, they cannot be changed” says the ghost of the past, but perhaps there is hope of changing a possible nefarious future. The key is as always in the present.
