“We are really happy about this day with Stefano Rossi, one of the best-known names in Italy in the field of pedagogy – so the mayor Diego Ferrara and the councilor for public education Teresa Giammarino – We will thus have the opportunity to support teacher training with a high quality name, but also to provide support to families, because his experience and advice are also followed closely by parents. We therefore invite the city to participate in this event, because it will be useful to understand delicate and complex dynamics to deal with, especially after Covid and in the face of two years of lockdown which have also profoundly changed the behavior and feelings of our children. We were keen to do something concrete and useful to respond to the need for support that comes to us from families, but which also manifests itself daily in schools and this event will certainly help to better understand the possible paths. Thanks to the help of the President of the City Council, Luigi Febo, we managed to quickly give body and shape to this opportunity. In this regard, we thank the managers of Didactic Prospects with whom we have activated important synergies for the benefit of our children and our administrative action of competence and we thank Rossi for stopping in Chieti, inserting us into a circuit of meetings that we know is very dense".
“This is an important occasion – like this Luca Flacco, by Prospettive Didattiche – Stefano Rossi is a real name in pedagogy, who through his journey in the school community has acquired an authority that derives from a varied experience, capable of also capturing the attention of families. He directs the Cooperative Teaching Center and is the scientific editor of Didactic Perspectives. After having worked for years on projects to combat school dropouts in situations of strong marginalization and hardship, he has modeled a rich set of tools and paths on which he has already trained 600 schools and over 80 thousand teachers. He is an author of numerous publications. He writes for Feltrinelli, Pearson, Focus. His Facebook page, which is widely followed by teachers, is "Stefano Rossi Didattica Cooperativa". His latest book published by Feltrinelli is “My son is a casino” (2022). We are certain that the day in Chieti is an opportunity for everyone to discuss and also to open up to new and competent perspectives in the difficult and delicate relationship between adults and children".
