Campobasso, a project to bring young people closer to cinematographic art through social education

During 2022, the Department of Social Policies of the Municipality of Campobasso promoted the cinematographic laboratory "Young Movie Makers Lab", reserved for young people aged between 13 and 17.

The aim of the project was to introduce very young people to cinematographic art and audiovisual communication in general, paying particular attention to social issues of great relevance in the adolescent phase.

The laboratory, supported by the Department for Family Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, was coordinated by INCAS Productions, with the fundamental contribution of an expert issues relating to defense against cyberbullying and online violence, master of the discipline of Zanshin Tech.

The children had the opportunity to discuss with expert personnel on the main topics considered: the director William Mussini held the direction and photography workshop, the actor Francesco Vitale coordinated the meetings on acting, the trainer Roberto Faccenda addressed the students the essential elements of video editing and special effects and master Maurizio Germano introduced the kids to the main techniques of Zanshin Tech and defense against web attacks.

At the end of the project, the workshop participants themselves contributed to the writing of the screenplay and the creation of the final short film entitled "𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙞𝙖 𝙞𝙡 𝙩𝙪𝙤 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙤".

The film presentation event will be held at Alphaville Hall in Campobasso, in via Muricchio, next Thursday, repeated three times at the following times: 17.30 - 19.00 - 20.30.
