Brescia, solidarity projects: “I'll make the Christmas tree for you!”

Brescia, Five neighborhood councils united by the fact that, during these months, they have demonstrated attention and sensitivity towards the weakest, some lonely and struggling people are meeting today to propose a Christmas project, experimenting with a new form of collaboration between CDQs who are not geographically close, but who wanted to build something together.
The project “This year I'll make the tree for you!” he wants the citizen to take care of the citizen, through a symbol: the construction of a Christmas tree decoration.
The decoration will then decorate the trees in five "symbolic" places:

There will be a sixth tree, as a gift to the whole city, decorated with all the decorations collected in recent months.
Many organizations supported the proposal, not just citizens, involving children, adults, the elderly, citizens of different countries around the world (now citizens of Brescia), artisans, etc. and also several citizens, who decided to help us in this "enterprise".
This time we can really say that trees are really made "by all of us, together". Symbolically ALL the DECORATIONS, coming from the various associations/bodies involved in the CDQ, were mixed and redistributed on the 6 trees (actually 9, but we couldn't say "NO" to the RSAs who requested the tree).
A beautiful example of solidarity, because, even in the forced distance of these times, we wanted to say "we are here", through a small gift, made with our hands, dedicating our time and our thoughts, even just for a moment to those he's lonely or feels that way.
A truly very significant experience also for all of us who conceived and organized this event.

As a "final gift", the Piantumazione Selvaggia association has decided to donate a real tree to the organizations (among the 6) that request it, which will then remain as a gift and will be worth planting, so that it can have new life.
