Brescia, inauguration of the red bench against violence against women

Brescia, on Thursday 16 July two benches painted red will be inaugurated, thanks to the contribution of the Don Bosco District Council, Community point of the Don Bosco neighborhood and Don Bosco Salesian Oratory Parish.
At 10.30 the red bench located in Piazza Giovanni XXIII in the gardens in front of the Church of San Giovanni Bosco will be inaugurated.
At 11.15 we will continue with the inauguration of the red bench in the Martinoni Park in via Corsica.

Le red benches are a project of the Municipality of Brescia created in collaboration with Neighborhood Councils, Bodies, Associations and Groups as a symbol of rejection of violence against women and to make the entire community reflect on the importance and value of life.
Speakers will include the councilor for Equal Opportunities Roberta Morelli, the president of the CDQ Don Bosco Tiziana Cherubini, the councilor of the CDQ Don Bosco Amilcare Baldassari, the representative of the Community Point Marco Sorrentino, a representative of the Adl Zavidovici association and Lucia Martinelli who will read a text on the topic of violence against women.
