Brescia, commemoration for the fallen of the Nassiriya massacre

Brescia, Seventeen years after the terrorist attack in Nasiriyah on 12 November 2003, which caused the death of 28 people including 19 Italian carabinieri, the municipal administration of Brescia is organizing a commemoration of the victims at the Caduti di Nassiriya park in via Trivellini on Thursday 12 November at 11am.
Speakers will include the Mayor of Brescia Emilio Del Bono, the Deputy Vice Prefect, the Provincial Commander of the Carabinieri of Brescia, the Commander of the Sixth Wing of Ghedi and the President of the Province of Brescia Samuele Alghisi. The city banner will be present. The commemoration will take place without an audience and will be broadcast live on the FaceBook page of the Municipality of Brescia.
