Le continue SAN FRANCESCO SUMMER evenings music and theater in the square, calendar of shows by Friday to Sunday curated by Emilia Romagna Teatro ERT / Teatro Nazionale in collaboration with the Culture and Creativity Sector of the Municipality of Bologna, designed for the splendid Piazza San Francesco. The project is part of Bologna Summer 2023, the program of activities promoted and coordinated by the Municipality of Bologna and the Metropolitan City of Bologna – Bologna-Modena Tourist Territory.
Friday 14 July at 21.00 pm goes on stage Margherita Hack, star among stars. The life rigorous and disheveled of one galactic scientist, performance by the journalist and science communicator, friend and collaborator of the scientist, Federico Taddia. Science and cats, athletics and cycling, the passion for the stars and the love for Aldo, swear words and a sense of ethics: an evocative musical reading dedicated to Margherita Hack on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of her death, than to retrace the stages and fundamental messages of his “rigorous and disheveled life”. An ironic, engaging, rhythmic and exciting show, suitable for audiences of all ages. The story is enriched by a playlist dedicated to the stars, made up of well-known songs, others rearranged and many unreleased.
Saturday 15 July at 21.00pm on the stage in the square yes they mix songwriting and ethnofolk with As Madalenas, the most active Brazilian music duo in Italy, which presents the new and third album. The album of the same name, released in May 2023 by Jando Music with the artistic direction of Ferruccio Spinetti, see the multi-instrumentalists Cristina Renzetti (Bolognese) e Tatiana Valley (Brazilian) – this time also as singer-songwriters – compose their songs in a “symbiotic” way, in a continuous game of references and exchanges.
Il recording project, with delicate and refined registers, offers a all-female easy listening model, conscious and elegant, in which worlds and continents mix through voice, guitar and instruments such as pandeiro, surdo, triangle and clarinet.
The one in Saint Francis is a unreleased live who sees for the first time on stage together with the duo a band composed of three instrumentalists: the Brazilian guitarist Roberto Taufic, the drummer and percussionist Bruno Marcozzi and the bassist Francesco Tino.
Il weekend ends on Sunday 16 July at 21.30pm with Bo-Noir, review dedicated to literature and crime news, with the scripts of the writer Grazia Verasani, the moderation of the journalist Stefano Tura and the direction of Riccardo Marchesini.
