Bari, la raccolta porta a porta nel Municipio IV e in una parte del quartiere Picone

Today the Councilor for the Environment Pietro Petruzzelli, the president of Amiu Puglia Paolo Pate and the president of the Municipality IV Grazia Hotel they went to the market in via Vaccarella where, since 9 October, it has been possible to collect the collection kits.

“Finally, door-to-door collection is about to start in the area of Carbonara, Ceglie del Campo, Loseto, Santa Rita, in the Quartierino and in via Mazzitelli – declared Pietro Petruzzelli -. By doing so, another 40 thousand inhabitants will be reached by the service in order to cover over 60% of the municipal territory. This is an important result although it is an intermediate step in view of the next objective, shared with Amiu, that of extending this type of collection also to Torre a Mare, San Giorgio and Sant'Anna".

“The market in via Vaccarella is one of the points where it is possible to collect door-to-door kits: citizens who have not yet done so will be able to pick up the garbage here from Monday to Saturday or go to the Amiu depot in Ceglie del Campo – continued Paolo Pate -. The service will start in just over twenty days. By then we will have eliminated over 1.000 bins from the streets, 800 of which in the territory of Municipality IV alone. This means that we will soon be able to ensure a targeted and certainly more efficient collection service for citizens."

“Many people have asked me in recent days when the new door-to-door collection service starts – concluded Grazia Albergo -. We now have a certain date, January 23rd, and therefore I take this opportunity to renew the invitation to those who have not yet done so to collect the kits. This service, we are sure, will restore beauty to our neighborhoods while ensuring greater cleanliness on our streets."

The fixed stations for collecting the kits are in the market in via Vaccarella, in Carbonara, from Monday to Saturday, from 8am to 14pm and from 15pm to 20pm, and at the Amiu headquarters in Ceglie (sp Ceglie-Valenzano), from Monday to Saturday, from 7am to 13.30pm.
