Bari: the “VINI E CUCINA” tavern turns 153, Mayor Decaro presents a plaque to Nicola Ancona.

This morning the mayor Antonio Decaro presented the owner of the historic "Vini e Cucina" tavern with a plaque from the municipal administration on the occasion of 153 years of activity, which has always been carried out in Strada Vallisa, in old Bari.
The one with Nicola Ancona, head of the restaurant company, was an affectionate and informal meeting, just like the atmosphere that has always characterized "Vini e Cucina".

Below is the text of the parchment that accompanies the plaque:
“To Nicola Ancona who for 153 years has perpetuated the Bari culinary tradition inherited from his great-grandfather. “Vini e Cucina – Paglionico”, from being used as an inn, has become an unmissable point of reference for those who want to savor the most authentic dishes of Bari cuisine in an informal and authentic environment.
Despite the great transformations of recent years, “Vini e Cucina” has managed to keep the identity and style unchanged and alive which make it, even today, an expression of traditional Bari culture.
The City of Bari with affection".
