Terracina: extraordinary service of the Carabinieri territory control, a man reported for driving with an alcohol level higher than the permitted level.

The Carabinieri of the Fondi Police Station, the Terracina (LT), Sperlonga (LT) and Lenola (LT) Stations carried out an extraordinary territorial control service, aimed at combating the sale of narcotic substances and widespread crime, as well as carrying out road traffic checks in the Terracina (LT) and Fondi (LT) areas.

Following the activities carried out, the Carabinieri reported at large a 27-year-old man resident in Terracina (LT), already known to the police force, because during a check, he was caught driving his car under the influence of alcohol, as ascertained through the breathalyzer used by the crews of the Carabinieri Company, which allowed to detect a blood alcohol level higher than the permitted value.

In the same context, the Carabinieri reported a 20-year-old boy from Fondi (LT) as a drug user, found in possession of 6 grams of a narcotic substance of the marijuana type, which was seized for subsequent quantitative and qualitative analyses.
During the service, the checks carried out, overall, involved 50 people and 34 vehicles; 10 checks were carried out with breathalyzer precursors and 2 administrative fines were issued for violations of the Highway Code. A total of 3 vehicle and personal searches were carried out.
