Priverno: Attacks 21-year-old partner, 29-year-old arrested

The Carabinieri of the Priverno Station (LT), at the conclusion of preliminary investigations, they arrested a twenty-nine-year-old local man, already known to the Police Force, for mistreatment of family members or cohabitants, aggravated damage, threats, resistance and injuries to a Public Official, as well as for unjustified possession of instruments capable of causing offence. Specifically, a female Carabiniere, off duty, while passing by a commercial activity in Priverno, he had noticed that the suspect had grabbed and thrown a 21-year-old girl out of his car, attacking her with slaps and punches.

The soldier, after identifying himself as a member of the Carabinieri, intervened and managed to make them retreat. the attacker, who, before leaving the scene completely, threatened to kill the Carabiniere who intervened. The Carabinieri of the Priverno Station immediately intervened on the scene of the incident in order to provide assistance to the off-duty colleague who was providing all possible assistance to the young woman who had been attacked.

In the meantime, the suspect had shown up at the nearby Carabinieri station where, in an evidently altered state, he went into a rage, damaging a door with a headbutt and attacking the soldiers on duty with kicks and punches, causing them personal injuries. Following the incident, the suspect was arrested and, together with the attacked soldiers, was accompanied to the nearby Emergency Room as he had suffered minor self-inflicted injuries following the aforementioned damage to the door.

The investigations were subsequently extended to the vehicle used by the suspect, which was searched and, during the police operation, a baseball bat was found, which was seized, hidden under the passenger seat.
For the above, the 29 year old was arrested.
