Fondi: two 44-year-olds reported by the Carabinieri for money laundering, drug dealing and illegal possession of weapons

During the night of November 28, the Carabinieri of the Fondi (LT) branch, together with the personnel of the NOR employee - Radiomobile Quota of the Terracina Company, following a targeted investigative activity, have deferred, in a state of freedom, two 44 year old local citizens, both burdened by previous police convictions, for the crimes of money laundering, possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing and illegal possession of weapons.

Specifically, the military personnel of the Arma, following a report received by 112 NUE, have traced, inside the property of one of the two suspects, not present on site, a car on which some had been placed plates originally paired with another vehicle of the same model. The latter was later found on the property of one of the suspects, with damage likely attributable to a road accident.

Furthermore, from subsequent checks also extended to the chassis number, the car traced turned out to be proceeds of theft, reported last November 21st at the Carabinieri Command of Fondi, by a local woman.

Therefore, both the aforementioned car and the license plates affixed to it were seized by the Carabinieri in operation, at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.

In the course of their activities, the military tracked down both suspects inside a shed pertaining to the property previously inspected. In this circumstance, the military personnel also found a small quantity of narcotic substance of different nature, various materials used for packaging and a small caliber ammunition for handgun, all appropriately collected and seized, at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
