Fondi: Carabinieri intervene in a family dispute and arrest a 24-year-old

On the night of November 28, the Carabinieri of the Fondi (LT) branch, following specific investigations, concluded arrest, in flagrante delicto, 24 year old boy of the place, already known to the police forces, for the crime of mistreatment of family members and cohabitants, illegal possession of weapons and damage to public buildings or buildings intended for public services.

Specifically, the Carabinieri, following a request received by the 112 NUE number, intervened at a house in that centre, where a family quarrel.

The Carabinieri who arrived on the scene identified the people present, including the suspect who, in evident state of psychophysical alteration, at the end of a heated argument which arose over futile reasons, has threatened his sister and mother, both living with him, causing a state of deep anxiety and fear for their safety.

Today's episode appears to be yet another of similar events that have occurred in the past and reported by the victims.

In this context, the Carabinieri carried out a local search, during which, in the possession of the suspect, the military found nr. 2 12 gauge shotgun shells.

For the above, the aforementioned has been drawn into arrest by the Carabinieri who took him to the barracks for further formalities. In this circumstance, during the photo-signalling operations, although handcuffed and under surveillance by the operating military, while passing through the entrance hall of the Fondi barracks, the 24-year-old kicked a door, damaging it.

The arrested man, after completing the formal procedures, was transferred to the Latina District Prison by order of the Judicial Authority.
