Aprilia: He wanted to jump from an overpass, the Carabinieri save a 41-year-old man

On February 24, the Carabinieri of the Aprilia Station, during a service aimed at controlling the territory, upon request received from 112 NUE, intervened in that center, where a man threatened to throw himself into the void from an overpass.

Specifically, the Carabinieri, hypothesizing a suicidal intent, initiated and conducted an intense dissuasion effort, without however initially succeeding in convincing the man who, in the meantime, continued to cling to the fence of the overpass with only one arm. Therefore, one of the officers climbed over the fence, reaching the man, then grabbed him and placed him in a safe condition, with the help of other Carabinieri soldiers who arrived.

Medical personnel also intervened on site and then transported the man, a 41-year-old local, to the Castelli di Ariccia (RM) hospital for checks and treatment.
