Aprilia, operation “High Impact”: extraordinary controls against crime.
On Thursday evening and Friday afternoon, law enforcement carried out extraordinary checks in Aprilia as part of the operation "High Impact", aimed at combating widespread crime and ensuring greater security.
I joint checks affected the most sensitive areas of the city, including the degraded areas, nightlife spots, commercial businesses and areas with a high presence of foreign citizens, with the aim of preventing predatory crimes e drug dealing.
During the operation, patrols of Police, Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza e Local Police of Aprilia they carried out checkpoints and checks on subjects in transit. They have been 472 subjects identified, Of which 110 with police records for crimes related to drugs, property and people, and 382 vehicles checked, and issued fines for violations of the highway code.
The Carabinieri have reported a 44 year old Tunisian citizen, already known to the police, for theft. The man was found in possession of foodstuffs worth approximately 100 euros, stolen shortly before from a supermarket. The stolen goods were recovered and returned.
Always during the checks, a 25enne was reported including drug user, after being found with 1,5 grams of hashish. Furthermore, they have been raised 4 administrative sanctions for violations of the highway code, for a total of 882 €, vehicle seized e 2 driving licenses withdrawn.
